THEATRE PRODUCTION SERVICES, we can now provide you with a complete
production package for your next show.
How does this new service work? I hear you ask; for example, we were
recently contacted by a London based youth theatre group, about to stage
Oliver. Their venue was a completely unequipped school gym, and they
literally had no idea how best to use the space.
We met with them, looked at their venue and discussed their requirements.
Come the week of their show, supplying scenery, props, tabs, and fittings
from Scenic & Property Hire and sound and lighting equipment from Theatre
Production Services, we had turned their gymnasium into a fully-fledged
auditorium.
The set-up was complete with a pros-arch, wipe tracks for hanging
backcloths, lighting barrels and lights, and a sound system including
radio/body mics, chorus amplification and of course our own experienced
technicians in residence for the week of the show to operate.
In effect everything sourced from one supplier, delivered on one vehicle,
with our crew supervising the scenery and technical fit-up.
