We’ll get your stage sets and cloths to you safely, and on time. Everything we do is delivered to ensure all requisite issues are dealt with including insurances for drivers etc. We can tell you in advance who is going to arrive, when they will arrive and what will happen when they do. Scenery hire are Schools specialists & understand the issues you face. We work during downtime to avoid impacting your working day. We can deal directly with your finance department. We can make the sets work with all types of venues, from fully fledged theatre spaces to temporary theatre spaces, sports halls and more. Hiring Stage Sets probably won’t be your main job, so we are here to make it easy.

How do I make an Enquiry or Booking of a Stage Set or Cloth? Please send us an email to email@example.com with your enquiry, including dates of performance and your venue, or use the form on most pages of this site including the contact us page. We will then reply with a cost of hire and transport. Once you have decided on your show and confirmed with us we will then send through the relevant paperwork which will need to be completed and signed and returned (including a hard copy via post) and your invoice which will need to be paid by the dates on them. We then liaise with you about your scenery checklist to ensure everything you need and require is on it and then loaded on the lorry.

What are Scenery Hire’s Payment Terms? We ask for 50% non-refunadable deposit* when booking which is due within 7 days of booking, the final payment is due by the Friday of your ‘show week’ *Date of booking dependant. Backcloths are payable with cleared funds before the items leave our warehouse.

Can I Change the Colours of the Sets & Backcloths? The Colours of the Sets & Backcloths can be changed with clever lighting when in the theatre. They can be lit by your lighting person to match the rest of your set. The Sets andBackcloths tend to be painted or printed using colours you would expect from the scene, however, a clever bit of wash lighting can easily alter the colour to the audience to better suit the mood or scene.
